Kenny Hatch
FOUNDER & Lead player development coach
Kenny Hatch is a former 5-year professional basketball player. He began his basketball career at St. Ignatius, where he played 1 year of varsity basketball for the Wildcats. He then went on to play at Canada College, a junior college in Redwood City, where he led his team to the final four in 2015.
Kenny then earned a scholarship to play at Texas A&M International University, where he graduated with his degree in Accounting and won the 2017 Heartland Conference Championship. In 2018, Kenny went on to continue his basketball career internationally where he played professionally for five years in Spain & Italy. Kenny's basketball training focuses on fundamentals.
Kenny's journey has been anything but simple which has provided him with the knowledge and experience to be the best advisor. Kenny's expertise goes beyond basketball training and can help players accomplish their goals & gain the confidence needed to get their game to the next level.

MADDY HATCH IS A CURRENT 5-YEAR PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER. SHE BEGAN HER BASKETBALL CAREER AT ST. IGNATIUS, WHERE SHE PLAYED 2 YEARS OF VARSITY BASKETBALL FOR THE WILDCATS. DESPITE TWO KNEE INJURIES AND SURGERIES, SHE STILL FOUND A WAY TO EARN A SCHOLARSHIP TO PLAY AT CAL POLY HUMBOLDT, WHERE SHE GRADUATED WITH HER DEGREE IN KINESIOLOGY WITH AN EMPHASIS IN PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY. DURING HER TIME AT HUMBOLDT, SHE HELPED HER TEAM WIN THE 2018 CCAA CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP AND HAD TWO NCAA TOURNAMENT APPEARANCES IN 2018 AND 2019. MADDY IS IN THE RECORD BOOKS AT HUMBOLDT FOR 3-POINTERS MADE IN A SEASON.
IN 2021, MADDY WENT ON TO CONTINUE HER BASKETBALL CAREER INTERNATIONALLY WHERE SHE PLAYED PROFESSIONALLY FOR four YEARS IN SPAIN & ITALY, HELPING TWO TEAMS GET PROMOTED. IN THE 2022-2023 SEASON SHE AIDED HER TEAM IN WINNING THE ITALIAN a2 CHAMPIONSHIP, GETTING PROMOTED TO THE FIRST LEAGUE.
MADDY’S BASKETBALL TRAINING FOCUSES ON BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION. SHE POSSESSES AN EXPERTISE IN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SHOOTING. MADDY’S JOURNEY HAS EQUIPPED HER WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO BEST OVERCOME ADVERSITY, NOT ONLY IN BASKETBALL BUT IN LIFE. SHE BRINGS THIS INTO HER BASKETBALL TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP.
MADDY IS TRAINED IN PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY, ESPECIALLY IN INJURY PREVENTION, REHABILITATION, AND STRENGTH TRAINING. SHE IS CURRENTLY COMPLETING HER MASTERS IN KINESIOLOGY AT CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD. MADDY CAN AID PLAYERS IN MASTERING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF BASKETBALL AND GAINING CONFIDENCE TO OVERCOME WHATEVER OBSTACLES THEY MAY FACE.
jake paxton
Player development coach
Jake started his basketball career at Rio Americano high school, where he was a starter on Varsity for three years. he won back to back league MVPS, and led his team to state playoffs all three years. he then played two years at Sacramento City College, where he averaged 20 points per game his sophomore year and earned a scholarship to play at San Francisco State University. he is now currently in his last year of school on schedule to graduate with a degree in liberal studies & assisting the sf state men’s basketball program.
his journey hasn’t been like most players. Not going straight to a 4 year out of high school forced him to create his own path. As well as the physical side, jake likes to focus on the mental side of the game. he strives to Build a strong foundation of fundamentals while pushing athletes to develop new skills at the same time. Jake believes in building confidence and belief in ONESELF, which can be developed through hard work and repetitions. “Work in the dark, to shine in the light”
DEVON JACKSON

Devon is a dedicated Player Development Coach specializing in bringing first-hand experience as a former Division II basketball player at San Francisco State University. With a strong athletic foundation and a passion for mentorship, Devon empowers athletes to grow both on and off the court. A graduate of Dublin High School, Devon played two years on varsity and earned EBAL Second Team honors as a senior. He also competed at a high level with elite AAU programs including West Coast Elite and The Truth.
Drawing from years of competitive play and leadership experience, Devon now helps athletes navigate their own journeys—focusing on skill development, personal growth, and long-term success beyond the game.
ISRAEL HAKIM
Player development COACH
ISRAEL HAKIM WAS BORN IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, AND RAISED IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. AT THE START OF HIS FRESHMAN YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL, HE MOVED TO PALO ALTO, WHERE HE BEGAN HIS BASKETBALL CAREER. HAKIM WAS A VARSITY STARTER FOR TWO YEARS EARNING THREE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS. AFTER A BRIEF HIATUS FROM THE SPORT DURING HIS FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE IN TEXAS, HE RETURNED TO CALIFORNIA TO ATTEND CAÑADA COLLEGE. THERE, HE WAS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM, WHICH REACHED THE CALIFORNIA JUCO FINAL FOUR IN 2015.
HAKIM THEN TRANSFERRED TO SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY, WHERE HE CONTINUED HIS BASKETBALL CAREER AND MAJORED IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, GRADUATING IN 2017. HIS ATHLETIC JOURNEY EXTENDED TO SPAIN, WHERE HE PLAYED PROFESSIONALLY FOR A SEASON WITH HIS COLLEGE TEAMMATE KENNY. UPON RETURNING TO THE UNITED STATES, HE SHIFTED HIS FOCUS TO COACHING HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL AND TEACHING.
CURRENTLY, HAKIM SERVES AS THE VARSITY HEAD COACH AND AN EDUCATION SPECIALIST AT MILLS HIGH SCHOOL. HE IS ALSO COMPLETED HIS MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION AT SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY.
HE IS A FIRM ADVOCATE FOR DEVELOPING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE GAME AND IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING STUDENT-ATHLETES IN REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. WITH A COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND IN BASKETBALL AND COACHING, HAKIM IS ABLE TO PROVIDE PLAYERS AND FAMILIES WITH INSIGHT AND TOOLS TO PLAY AT THE HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGIATE LEVEL.
john gloria
Gym manager and training Assistant
John Gloria was born in Bakersfield, California. he attended Liberty HIGH SCHOOl and graduated in 2022. in 2023, he made the move to the Bay Area and began assisting Kenny with his basketball training. Although he had never played basketball before, being immersed in the sport sparked a passion in him. Now, basketball has become a major part of his life— watching every type of game and becoming one of his favorite sports. John has been a cornerstone of kenny hatch basketball since the beginning.
What he enjoys most about this journey is helping people improve their skills and seeing them grow into better players over time. he believes that It's incredibly rewarding to be a part of their development and witness their progress firsthand
PETER MARTINEZ
Player development ASSISTANT
Peter Martinez is a former 6-year professional basketball player that played in Nicaragua. He finished his high school career in 2014 at Dublin high school where he led his team to the 2nd round of NCS playoffs & was nominated DFAL Honorable Mention. He then went on to play at Simpson university for a year then transferred to William Paterson University where he finished his collegiate career and received his bachelors degree in psychology. During his time at William Paterson University he led his team to the conference championship game and resulted in runner ups of the NJAC conference.
In 2019, Peter Went on to continue his basketball career internationally where he played professionally for 6 years in Nicaragua in the Liga Superior de Baloncesto (LSB) league. In 2024 he helped his team set new records for the league and the franchise as a whole such as the first team to start off the season 10-0, leading the franchise/team to its first ever championship series falling short and taking the defending champions to all 5 games, and finishing a best in team history 2nd in overall league with a overall record of 17-5.
Peter’s goals and aspirations were always to play professionally overseas and he obtained that goal. But now the main focus is to pass down the knowledge and experience he has to those that have aspirations and desires to be the player they strive to be one day.
John mElendrez
Player development ASSISTANT
John Melendrez is a dedicated player development ASSISTANT with a rich background in basketball coaching and athlete mentorship. Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management at the University of San Francisco, John also serves as a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball program, where he has honed his skills in player development and team strategy.
Previously, he spent two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at San Francisco State University, further refining his coaching techniques. A U.S. Army veteran who played basketball during his service, John combines his passion for the game with a commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.
JUSTIN SLIE
Player development ASSISTANT
Justin Slie is a Basketball player and Coach from South San Francisco where he was a 2 year varsity player between South San Francisco High School and Jefferson High School in Daly City, CA. Shortly after graduating High School Justin went on to play at Cañada College in Redwood City, CA where he lead the his team in 3 pointers made, and 3 point percentage. Justin then went to go on to transfer to Chabot College in Hayward where he contributed to a 21-7 season, and placing second in the coast north in the most competitive conference in California.As Justin looks for his next opportunity to play at the next level.
He is the head coach for Moore Bucketz; an AAU program based out of Pacifica where coaches the 13u D1, and also 17u D1. Also runs the Skill development, and head of strength and conditioning for the program.Justin’s speciality is building culture, teaching life through basketball, and the strive to keep going no matter the circumstances.
KATIE WU

Katie Wu was born & raised in San Francisco. She most recently played for Team (Jason) Kidd. At The Bay School of San Francisco, she was a varsity starter, first-team all league, and lead her team in points all four years. During her senior year, as team captain, she was honored league MVP. She is currently studying at the Wharton School of Business at UPenn. But her involvement with basketball doesn’t end as she’s serving as a student manager on the UPenn Women’s Basketball team.

Alexis was born & raised in Bakersfield, ca where she was a four-year starter & 3-time sectional valley champion for the stockdale women’s soccer team. She then accepted a scholarship to cal state east bay where she played & graduated with her degree in communications.

With a strong background in project management and cross-functional collaboration, Kelli streamlines processes, enhances client experiences, and optimizes business efficiency. She plays a key role in program coordination, scheduling, and operational execution, supporting the company’s mission to develop elite basketball players.
Her expertise in leadership, communication, and problem-solving enables her to bridge gaps between departments, implement effective systems, and support the business’s long-term success. Passionate about organization and innovation, Kelli is dedicated to making an impact both on and off the court.
